Pastors Ben & Mery Ellen Strong

LEAD PASTORS

Pastor Ben began his life of full-time ministry at the age of 18. He served as Worship and Youth Pastor and also an Associate Pastor of Equip Church before his appointment as Lead Pastor in 2016. He met and married his wife, Mery Ellen, the same year. Together, they love seeing the people of Equip Church grow and pursue God’s calling for them. In their spare time, Ben enjoys hiking, music, chess, and learning Portuguese. Mery Ellen has a gift for baking, enjoys the outdoors with her husband, and loves to travel.

Pastors Bobby & Doris Strong

FOUNDING PASTORS

Pastors Bobby and Doris Strong founded the church in 1991. They have been married for 52 years and bring over 50 years of ministry experience to Equip Church. Their hearts are to see the Church come into full maturity in Christ and to pursue an outpouring of His Spirit in our community and nation. Bobby enjoys being outdoors, exercise and a good Western. Doris is passionate about studying, teaching and finds enjoyment in gardening and landscaping.
